Our approach

Show the craft.
Filter the enquiries.

A bespoke workshop lives on its portfolio, but drowns in vague enquiries: “how much is a kitchen?” The site has to make the work look as good as it is, and make every enquiry arrive with the details needed to answer it.

So the Business concept pairs a filterable project gallery with a three-step quote planner. Visitors see an indicative range as they choose, and the workshop receives a structured brief instead of a one-line email.

Teak & Tide is a fictional business. There's no client, so there are no testimonials or results to report. Just the work, which you can use below.

Decisions

What we decided, and why.

Every project starts as a list of open questions. These are the ones that shaped this site.

  • How do you stop “how much is a kitchen?”Answer it, roughly, up front. The quote planner turns type, size, timber and detail into an indicative range and a workshop time — with a clear note that a real quote follows a visit.
  • What should the gallery do?Let people find their project.Filters by type with live counts, and a lightbox with the timber, the weeks it took and who fitted it. Keyboard and screen-reader friendly.
  • Five pages — which five? The ones a buyer checks.Home, Services with starting prices, Work, Studio, and Enquire. Every page ends by pointing to the planner.
  • How should it feel?Like the workshop, not a showroom.Oat and walnut tones, a calm serif, generous space and drawings instead of stock photos.
